INVENSITY advises IDENTA on the acquisition of akili:innovation with a Technical & Product Due Diligence

The technology and management consultancy INVENSITY GmbH supported IDENTA Ausweissysteme GmbH in its acquisition of akili:innovation GmbH by conducting Technical & Product Due Diligence. Through the acquisition, IDENTA expands its portfolio with software expertise and self-service kiosk solutions for secure identification, authentication, and access processes.

The IDENTA Software Solutions portfolio includes ATLED, a system for ID management and authorization management. The connection between IDENTA hardware and ATLED enables seamless processes. Companies can, for example, pre-register visitors, grant access rights, and issue ID cards automatically.

For customers and partners, the integration means continuity and new possibilities: products, expertise, and points of contact remain in place. At the same time, the portfolio expands to include specialized software development for secure identification, authentication, and access processes. All employees of akili:innovation will be taken on into the IDENTA corporate group. The existing management team remains on board in a responsible capacity. Uwe Wiest and Tim Heine will take over management of IDENTA Software Solutions.
